Artist says- Working with scenic landscapes in acrylics or oils
is
similar to that of watercolors. When water is added to
the acrylics, it becomes diluted, however, the characteristics of the acrylic paint maintains
the vibrancy of the color. Further dilution is not recommended because flocculation occurs causing
undesirable effects. When
oil paints are diluted with turpentine, it becomes a stain with no
vibrancy of color. |
